Reserving a seat on a boat that leaves from Gümbet Harbour takes less time than most guests expect. A Bodrum boat tour booking comes down to four steps: the date, your guest details, the pickup point and the payment. Below we go through them in order, with the information you should have ready at each stage.
Step 1: Pick a date and check availability

The boat carries 100 people, and summer weekends fill up sooner than weekdays. The tour leaves Gümbet Harbour at 10:30 every day and returns to the same pier at 17:00, so plan for roughly six and a half hours. Step 2: Give guest numbers and children's ages
The fare is 1,500 TL per person. Children aged 0-6 travel free and ages 6-12 pay half, so mentioning ages upfront gives you an exact total. Lunch is included in the price: chicken, pasta and salad, served around 13:00 at Ada Boğazı. Drinks are not included; the on-board bar sells alcoholic and soft drinks separately. Step 3: Share your pickup location
Hotel transfer is included for Gümbet, Bitez and Ortakent, with no extra charge. Just send the hotel name and district when you book; the pickup time comes back with your confirmation. Guests staying outside these three areas make their own way to the pier.
Step 4: Pay and get your confirmation
Card, bank transfer and other options are accepted, and your place is held once payment goes through. If plans change, refunds are available up to 3 days before the tour date, and a date change can be discussed within that window.
Worth knowing before you book
The route is fixed: Dalgıç Bay, Ada Boğazı, Aşıklar Bay and Akvaryum Bay, with a 30-40 minute stop at each. Bodrum has other beautiful spots too, such as the island described in our piece on Karaada, but our own programme stays with the four bays above.
