Bodrum Boat Trip with Lunch: What Is on the Menu — and What Is Not

The phrase "boat trip with lunch" covers a very wide range in this industry — on some tours it means a hot plate, on others just a snack. So when we say Bodrum boat trip with lunch, here is exactly what that means with us.

Where and when is lunch served?

Lunch is served at the second stop of the day, Ada Boğazı, at around 13:00. Because the water in the strait is sheltered, the boat sits fairly steady during this break — carrying a plate around or eating seated on deck is comfortable. The meal takes about an hour; the DJ set follows.

What is on the menu?

  • Chicken — served as the main dish.
  • Pasta — served hot alongside.
  • Salad — with seasonal greens.

The menu is designed as a simple, filling lunch; it makes no claim to be a gourmet experience. Given that you will be swimming for the rest of the day, a heavy menu would be the wrong call anyway.

What is not on the menu?

  • No breakfast. The tour leaves at 10:30; have breakfast at your hotel. You may see breakfast attributed to our tour on some websites — that is not correct.
  • Drinks are not included. All drinks, alcoholic and soft, are bought separately at the on-board bar.
  • No dinner. The tour ends at 17:00; the evening is yours.

Dietary needs and outside food

If you are vegetarian, have an allergy or a similar requirement, state it in your booking message — improvising an alternative during the day is difficult, so we need to know in advance. For bringing food on board, we recommend clearing it with the crew beforehand.

Effect on the price

Lunch is included in the 1,500 TL per-person fee; there is nothing extra to pay. When you find a cheaper offer elsewhere, this is very often the missing item. When comparing prices, always ask: "is food included, and which meal?"

You can see where the lunch stop sits in the route in our article on the four bays. Which bays cannot be reached by road is covered in this comparison. Curious how to reach Bağla Bay, which is not on our route? Our access guide helps. The full programme is on the tour programme page.
