If your hotel is in Gumbet, the first question when booking a boat trip is not the route but the departure point. Two tours can visit identical bays and still feel completely different, because the difference is made on land in the morning. Here is an honest comparison between a Gumbet departure boat tour and one that leaves from a harbour further away.
How the morning works
From Gumbet the jetty sits at the end of the beach strip, so many guests simply walk over. The boat leaves at 10:30, which leaves room for a relaxed start. Hotels in Gumbet, Bitez and Ortakent are covered by a shuttle that is already included in the price, with no extra transfer fee.

The two options side by side
- Nearby departure: a short walk or short shuttle, 10:30 start, back at the same jetty at 17:00, roughly 6.5 hours in total.
- Distant departure: similar time on the water, but the added road time at both ends stretches the whole day.
- Budget: 1.500 TL per person. Children aged 0-6 travel free, ages 6-12 pay half. Lunch is included; drinks are bought separately at the deck bar.
- Packing: towels are not provided, so bring your own. With a close departure you can still fetch a forgotten item from the hotel.
Does the route change?
The programme is fixed. The first swim stop is Dalgic Bay, lunch is served at Ada Bogazi where the DJ set begins, then come Asiklar Bay and the final stop, Akvaryum Bay, with 30-40 minutes at each. Who should pick it, who should not
This departure suits guests staying around Gumbet who want no long morning drive and are happy on a busy deck with music. Up to 100 people join, and the tempo rises after lunch. If you want a quiet day at sea, or you travel with a pet, this is not your tour, since animals are not allowed on board.
