Gumbet Boat Trip Ticket: When Should You Book It?

People planning a holiday in Gumbet usually ask about booking before they ask about the route. Here are direct answers to the most frequent questions about the Gumbet boat trip ticket: how early to reserve, what the fare covers, how children are counted and what happens if plans change.

How far in advance should the ticket be booked?

The boat carries 100 people. In July and August certain dates fill up several days ahead, while in early June or late September a same-day seat is usually still free. If you are staying in Gumbet, Bitez or Ortakent, early notice also helps us fit your hotel into the morning pickup route. We looked at the timing question more closely in our list of tips for guests staying nearby.

What does the fare include?

You pay 1,500 TL per person, and that amount covers:

  • Departure from Gumbet Harbour at 10:30 and return to the same pier at 17:00, roughly six and a half hours
  • Four stops - Dalgic Bay, Ada Bogazi, Asiklar Bay and Aquarium Bay - with 30 to 40 minutes at each
  • Lunch served at Ada Bogazi around 13:00: chicken, pasta and salad
  • Hotel shuttle from Gumbet, Bitez and Ortakent at no extra charge
  • Life jackets, safety equipment and insurance

Drinks sit outside that price; the bar on deck sells alcoholic and soft drinks separately. Towels are not handed out either, so pack your own.

Do children need their own ticket?

Ages 0-6 travel free and ages 6-12 pay half. Mention the ages in your booking message and you will see the exact total before paying anything. A toilet, a shower and a changing cabin on board make the day simpler for families.

How do payment and cancellation work?

Card, bank transfer and the other usual methods are all accepted. Refunds remain possible up to 3 days before the tour date, so reserving early costs you little even when the forecast is unclear. If you read reviews while deciding, our piece on which parts of a review actually matter will save you time.

What happens once the ticket is booked?

Your confirmation message carries the meeting time and pickup point; in the morning you simply follow it. Bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat.
