Planning a day at sea in Gümbet often stalls on one small question: who do you actually contact? Reception desks, street boards and forwarded links all give slightly different answers. Below are the questions people ask us most often by phone and message, with the real answers.
Who picks up when I get in touch?

Call or write: which is quicker?
If you are on a foreign SIM or standing on a noisy beach, writing usually wins, because the time, the amount and the meeting point stay on your screen. A call is better when something is urgent, such as waiting for the morning shuttle. We have set out what a useful first message should mention in a separate piece.
What should I have ready?
Five details are usually enough to close the booking in one exchange:
- Number of guests, plus children's ages: free under 6, half price from 6 to 12
- The date you want to sail
- Your hotel name and area; the shuttle is included for Gümbet, Bitez and Ortakent hotels
- How you prefer to pay, by card or bank transfer
- Anything special, for example a guest who cannot swim

Which answers never change?
Some facts are the same every single day, so there is no need to ask. Departure is from Gümbet Harbour at 10:30 and the boat returns to the same pier at 17:00. The price is 1,500 TL per person. Lunch is included and served at Ada Bogazi: chicken, pasta and salad. Drinks are not included and are paid for separately at the deck bar. Towels are not provided, so bring your own. The route is fixed too: Dalgic Bay, Ada Bogazi, Asiklar Bay and Akvaryum Bay.
When is the right moment to book?
The boat takes 100 people and popular July and August dates fill up days in advance, so write as soon as your plan is fixed. If things change, cancellations are refunded up to three days before the tour. Travelling as a group? Look at how friends usually organise their day on board, and if the sound matters to you, see how the DJ set builds through the afternoon. If you want a quiet day at sea, you do not even have to ask: this trip is not the right one for you.
