What to Bring on a Boat Trip: The Complete Packing List

A well-packed bag doubles the comfort of a Bodrum day boat trip. The good news: the list is short. The boat already takes care of breakfast, lunch and soft drinks — all that is left to you are the personal bits.

What must go in the bag

  • Sunscreen (SPF 50): the sea reflects light, so the sun hits harder than on land. Reapply every two hours.
  • Hat and sunglasses: there is always shade on deck, but the best spots are in the open.
  • Towel and swimsuit: arrive wearing the swimsuit, keep the towel on top.
  • Spare t-shirt / sarong: for after swimming and the evening breeze.
  • Waterproof phone pouch: bay photos plus peace of mind.
  • Snorkel set: makes all the difference in clear bays.
  • Water shoes: protect your feet on pebbly entries.
  • Some cash: practical for extras.
  • Light cardigan: the wind cools down after sunset.
  • Power bank: you will be filming all day, trust us.

What you can leave at the hotel

A bulky beach umbrella, a speaker (the boat has a DJ!), valuable jewellery and thick books — you will need none of them. On a boat trip, less luggage means more comfort. Bag ready? The only thing missing is a date: message us on WhatsApp and your spot on the party boat is set.
