Guests booked into the town centre almost always ask the same thing: if the boat leaves from Gümbet Harbour, is it awkward to join from the bazaar area? Not really. Gümbet is the neighbouring bay just west of the centre, so a boat tour from Bodrum centre in practice means walking or riding over to Gümbet and stepping aboard there.
Does the hotel shuttle reach the centre?
Honest answer: no. The included transfer covers hotels in Gümbet, Bitez and Ortakent. If you are staying around Kumbahçe, Türkkuyusu or the streets above the bazaar, you make your own way to the harbour. Nothing extra is charged for this; you simply leave in time for the departure.
Getting from the centre to Gümbet Harbour
Three options work well:
- Dolmuş minibus: the Gümbet line runs frequently through the summer and drops you near the seafront.
- Taxi: the quickest choice, and reasonable per head if you are a group.
- On foot: pleasant while the air is still cool, less fun in the late morning heat with a heavy bag.

Build your morning around 10:30 and 17:00
Departure is at 10:30 and the boat is back at the same jetty at 17:00, so roughly six and a half hours on the water. Coming from the centre, arrive a little before boarding time; parking near the harbour fills up on summer mornings. The return leg drops you at the same place, so you simply reverse your journey.
What the day itself looks like
The route has four stops: Dalgıç Bay, Ada Boğazı, Aşıklar Bay and Akvaryum Bay, with 30-40 minutes at each. Lunch is included and served at Ada Boğazı: chicken, pasta and salad. Drinks are not included and are bought separately at the deck bar. After lunch the volume rises and the music set on deck shapes the afternoon. If you want a quiet day at sea, this is not your boat.

The price is 1,500 TL per person, free for ages 0-6 and half price for 6-12. Towels are not provided, so bring your own. There are toilets, a shower and a changing cabin on board.
