Four coves in one day sounds tight until you look at the clock. A Gümbet daily boat trip leaves the pier at 10:30, ties up again at 17:00, and the 6.5 hours in between are planned from start to finish. Here is that day told hour by hour, without the marketing gloss.
Before departure · Shuttle pickup and arrival at the pier
Guests staying in Gümbet, Bitez and Ortakent hotels are collected by minibus, and that ride is already part of the ticket price with nothing extra to pay. Your exact pickup time shifts with the location of your hotel, so it is confirmed when you book. 10:30 · Departure from Gümbet Harbour
The boat casts off from Gümbet Harbour, not from the marina in central Bodrum. The first half hour is for settling in: pick a spot on deck, drop your bag, let the music stay at background level. What to bring is a short list:
- A towel, because towels are not handed out on board
- Sunscreen and a hat, since shade on deck is limited
- Your own snorkel mask if you have one, mainly for the last stop
- Cash or a card for drinks, which are not included in the ticket

11:15 · First swim stop at Dalgıç Bay
Dalgıç Bay is the first anchorage on the route. Once the anchor is down you get 30 to 40 minutes in the water, and every cove on the route follows the same rhythm. At this hour the sea is usually calmer. Life jackets and safety equipment are kept on board, and asking for a child sized one is completely normal.
13:00 · Lunch and the DJ set at Ada Boğazı
The second stop is Ada Boğazı. Lunch is served here around 13:00: chicken, pasta and salad, all covered by the 1,500 TL ticket. 15:00-17:00 · Aşıklar, Akvaryum and the way home
The afternoon brings a swimming and photo stop at Aşıklar Bay, then the final anchorage at Akvaryum Bay, which is the best of the four if you want to look down through the water with a mask. The boat is back in Gümbet at 17:00, so your evening is still your own. If you are after quiet, this is not your trip: on a deck built for 100 people the music runs loud through the second half of the day.
