Gumbet Party Boat: The Daytime Version of the Nightlife

Gumbet is best known for its beach bars and late nights. If you want that same energy in daylight and on the water, the daytime answer is a Gumbet party boat trip. Here is when the music picks up, where the boat actually goes and how the day is structured.

What a party boat means here

It means a day boat with a DJ booth on deck, dance animation and a separate bar. Capacity is 100 people, so expect a lively crowd rather than a private charter. In the morning the music stays at background level; the real tempo starts after lunch. If the wording on the harbour signs confuses you, our explanation of the common boat-tour terms clears it up.

Start and finish of the day

Departure is from Gumbet Harbour at 10:30 and the boat returns to the same pier at 17:00, so the day runs about 6.5 hours. Hotel pick-up in Gumbet, Bitez and Ortakent is part of the price, with no extra transfer fee. Because everything ends in the late afternoon, your evening stays free.

The route: four bays, four different stops

  • Dalgic Bay — the first swim stop of the day
  • Ada Bogazi — lunch is served here and the DJ set begins
  • Asiklar Bay — a stop for swimming and photos
  • Akvaryum Bay — the last break, best for snorkelling

Each stop lasts 30-40 minutes. The Bodrum coast also has places such as Karaada or Orak Island, but this particular route calls at the four bays listed above. For how the water differs from one to the next, see our notes on swimming stops along the coast.

Price, food and drinks

The fare is 1,500 TL per person. Lunch is included in that price: chicken, pasta and salad, served at Ada Bogazi around 13:00. Drinks are not included — alcoholic and soft drinks alike are bought separately at the deck bar. Children aged 0-6 travel free and 6-12 pay half. We described how the meal is put together on the page about the onboard lunch. Towels are not provided, so bring your own. The boat has a toilet, a shower and a changing cabin, plus life jackets, safety equipment and insurance. Pets are not allowed and smoking is restricted to marked areas.

Who it suits, and who it does not

If you want a social day with music and movement, this is a good match. If you are after silence or a small private boat, it is honestly not for you. One more thing worth knowing: the programme finishes in the afternoon, so sunset at sea is not part of it. You can follow the hour-by-hour outline of the day, and book through WhatsApp on +90 536 306 6359. Cancellations and refunds are possible up to three days before the tour date.
