Gümbet Boat Tour Times: Departure 10:30, Return 17:00

For most visitors staying in Gümbet, timing is the first practical question: how early to be at the pier, when the boat is back, and how the hours in between are shared out. Below are direct answers to what we are asked most often about Gümbet boat tour times.

What time does the boat leave?

Departure is at 10:30 from the pier at Gümbet Harbour, and we stick to that time. Being there around 10:15 lets you choose your spot on deck without hurrying. There is no breakfast served on board, so eat at your hotel before you set off. Our walkthrough of the meeting point shows exactly where the boat waits.

When does the tour end?

You are back at the same pier at 17:00, which makes roughly 6.5 hours on the water. That leaves the whole evening free for a shower and dinner in Gümbet. Since the sun sets much later in summer, sunset is not part of this trip; daylight is still strong when the boat ties up.

How are those hours divided?

The route covers four bays, with a stop of 30-40 minutes at each one:

  • Dalgıç Bay: the first swimming stop of the day
  • Ada Boğazı: lunch around 13:00 and the start of the DJ set
  • Aşıklar Bay: swimming and photo stop
  • Akvaryum Bay: the last break, best for snorkelling

Lunch of chicken, pasta and salad is covered by the 1.500 TL per-person price. Drinks are not included and are paid for separately at the deck bar.

What time is the hotel pick-up?

Transfer is included for hotels in Gümbet, Bitez and Ortakent, with nothing extra to pay. The pick-up time depends on where you are staying and is arranged before departure; we confirm the exact time on WhatsApp (+90 536 306 6359) when you book. If you prefer to make your own way, we listed the routes down to the pier in a separate post.

Who might find these hours wrong for them?

If you want a slow start and a quiet afternoon, this schedule will feel busy, because the music gets louder once lunch is over. Families with young children usually like the 17:00 finish, and the notes on travelling with kids are worth a read. To check free dates and confirm timings, use the contact details on our main page.
