A Full Day Out of Gümbet: The 6.5 Hour Schedule

Guests staying in Gümbet usually ask the same thing: once you are on board, how does the day actually move along? The Gümbet full day boat trip follows a fixed schedule, leaving at 10:30 and finishing at 17:00 at the same pier, about 6.5 hours in total. Here is that day, hour by hour.

10:30 · Departure from Gümbet Harbour

The meeting point is Gümbet Harbour. If your hotel is in Gümbet, Bitez or Ortakent, the shuttle is part of the fare, so getting to the pier costs nothing extra. The boat takes 100 people, and those who board early pick their spot in the sun or in the shade. During the morning the music stays at background level.

First stop · Dalgıç Cove

Dalgıç Cove opens the route and hosts the first swim stop. Every anchorage lasts 30-40 minutes, enough to get in the water and dry off on deck. Towels are not provided, so bring your own. There are toilets, a shower and a changing cabin on board. If you are still at the planning stage, our note on when it makes sense to book your ticket is a useful read.

13:00 · Lunch and the DJ set at Ada Boğazı

Once the boat anchors at Ada Boğazı, lunch is served: chicken, pasta and salad, all included in the price. Drinks are not included; alcoholic and soft drinks are paid for separately at the deck bar. After the meal the DJ set begins and the tempo of the day clearly picks up.

Afternoon · Aşıklar and Akvaryum coves

The second half of the day is built around two stops:

  • Aşıklar Cove: time for swimming and photos. It also appears in our round-up of the coves that photograph best around Bodrum.
  • Akvaryum Cove: the final break, the one snorkellers tend to like most.

Bodrum also has places such as Karaada, Orak Island or Bağla; our tour visits these four coves and the route does not change during the day.

17:00 · Back at the same pier

The boat returns to Gümbet Harbour, where the day started. The fare is 1,500 TL per person, free for children aged 0-6 and half price for ages 6-12. Card and bank transfer are both accepted, and cancellations are possible up to three days before the tour. If you want a quiet day at sea, this is not the right trip; if you like music and a busy deck, it fits. The booking steps are covered in our step by step reservation guide, and you can see the whole programme from the main page.
