Cancelling a Booking: How the 3-Day Rule Works

Plans move: a flight gets rescheduled, the group shrinks, the weather turns. That is why reading the cancellation rule before you pay is far more useful than worrying on the morning of the tour. Our rule fits into one sentence: cancel up to three days before the tour date and your payment comes back. Here is the process in order.

Where does the three-day countdown start?

The count runs backwards from the departure day. If your boat leaves Gumbet Harbour at 10:30, any notice that reaches us up to three days before that date falls inside the refund window. What matters is the moment your message arrives, not the moment you made up your mind. For everything that falls outside the window, see our breakdown of when money actually goes back.

How do you send the cancellation, step by step?

  1. Open your booking confirmation and keep the name, date and headcount in front of you.
  2. Write to +90 536 306 6359 on WhatsApp and state that you are cancelling.
  3. For a partial cancellation, say how many people are leaving and how many stay.
  4. Add whether you paid by card or by bank transfer.
  5. Wait for the written confirmation that the request is logged, then keep that message.

We handle Bodrum boat tour booking cancellation in writing on purpose, because the date and the number of guests stay on record that way. A sentence said over the phone is hard to prove later.

Can you move the date instead of cancelling?

Most guests do not really want a refund; they want a different day. If a date is open, we move your booking there on the same terms: 1,500 TL per person, free for ages 0-6 and half price for ages 6-12. To see at which point a booking becomes final, read the difference between holding a place and buying a ticket.

What is left once you are inside the last three days?

After the limit the kitchen and crew planning is fixed, so no refund is issued. Transferring the place is still allowed: hand your booking to a friend and tell us the new name. If that person has limited mobility, it helps to read our honest look at access on deck first. And if you want to check what the fare covers and how the day unfolds, the page listing the four bays in order makes the decision simpler.
